Jen Datin (Dr) Roza Anon Bt Mohamad Ramlee representing YBhg. Maj. Gen. Dato’ (Dr) Borhan bin Jasmin, Director of Malaysia Armed Forces Dental Division; Professor Dato’ Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abu Hassan, Chairman of Dental Dean’s Council of Malaysia; Dr Bryan J. Paulose, Scientific Affairs and Education Manager, Oral Care Solutions Division (OCSD) from 3M Malaysia and Miss Jacklyn Ng Zhi Ling, Immediate Past President of Malaysian Dental Students Association represented their respective stakeholders at the closing ceremony to witness the event.  Also present were esteemed Judges for the Photography Competition of WOHD 2020 and winners of the Photography Competition of WOHD2020.

Though the unprecedented outbreak of COVD-19 in Malaysia has caused some of the plans for WOHD 2020 not being materialised, it has not hindered the celebration. In fact, the celebration and the message of WOHD 2020 continued among the general public and also dental practitioners through the photography competition that was organised by Malaysian Dental Students Association, and the numerous webinars and workshops organised by 3M Malaysia.  This is the first in the history of Malaysian Dental Association for such a long celebration of WOHD.  Other activities recorded include oral health screening and treatment at Projek Perumahan Rakyat, and oral health promotion on radio, TV and FB. Such task would definitely not be possible without the help of all co-organisers.  It is indeed a shared responsibility by all stakeholders to ensure the message on the importance of good oral health is disseminated to the Rakyat.  Malaysian Dental Association wish to put on record its sincere gratitude to all the co-organisers for making WOHD 2020 Malaysia a success and humbly seek continuous collaboration for WOHD 2021.
